Driveway & Disability Access Ramp

Driveway Scope of Work

  • Removal of old paving slabs
  • Removal of brick wall
  • Installation of weed membrane
  • 150mm MOT type-1 sub base and compacted with whacker plate
  • Installation of gravel grids
  • 20mm golden flint gravel added

Disability Access Ramp Scope of Work

  • Removal of old steel access ramp
  • Wood shuttering and marking out
  • Hardcore filled and cement mix poured
  • Anti slip tiles laid over the concrete ramp

Result

Client wanted a driveway that was easy to use, accessible for their vehicles and look nice at the same time. For their disability access ramp they wanted a permanent access ramp that was modern and easy to use rather than the steel access ramp.

Garden Landscaping

Landscaping Scope of Work

  • Dig out top soil
  • Wooden sleepers cut to size and fitted as a retaining wall
  • Install weed membrane
  • MOT type-1 sub base added and compacted with whacker plate
  • Cement bed added with the slabs laid on top
  • Grout added in the end

Result

Client wanted to have a flat levelled slabbed BBQ area with wooden sleepers as a retaining wall to give a modern and practical garden area.

Gardening

Gardening Scope of Work

  • Prepared top soil ready for lawn
  • New Emerald turf lawn
  • Hedge and tree trimming
  • Mow the lawn
  • Carpentry work — bridge made for the pond
  • Weeding
  • Gardening maintenance in general

Result

Client wants us to keep their garden looking healthy and established, with the lawn mowed regularly, weeding done periodically, plants watered and well looked after, dead leaves picked up and thrown away.

Painting and Decorating

Painting and Decorating Scope of Work

  • Wall paper removal
  • Filler and sand walls and ceiling
  • Paint walls and ceiling
  • Redone the flooring around the fireplace
  • Removed and installed new skirting board and painted
  • Sanded and painted window board
  • New wall paper installed in one of the bedrooms

Result

One of the bedrooms had mould removed, new wallpaper installed and brought back to living conditions. The second bedroom we added new skirting board, fixed the floor and window board bringing more light and making it more appealing and pleasant.

Fencing Scope of Work

  • Removal of boundary trees
  • Digging 450mm holes for the 4" fence posts
  • Allowed 1.8m distance from post to post for the fence panels
  • Fixing the posts with fast set postcrete
  • Wooden gravel boards fitted
  • Attached the fence panels in place and securing it with galvanised screws

Result

Client wants to keep their garden private and safe as the trees fell down with strong winds and left the garden exposed.

Carpentry

Carpentry Scope of Work

  • Removing the old rotten boards
  • Replacing with new boards cut to size and groove cutting underneath
  • Filling the gaps
  • Sanding to a smooth finish ready for painting

Result

Client wants to modernise the window frame as the old one was rotted and looked ugly.
